cmdev was founded in 2016 to close the gap between design and engineering on serious software. We work with clients who need production systems that hold up — in healthcare, fintech, public sector, manufacturing, and the AI infrastructure that increasingly underlies all of them.

Every engagement starts with the problem, the user, and the constraints. We sketch the system before we write it. Code that ships first time costs less to maintain.

Cloud as a first language.
AWS, GCP, and Azure certified. We architect for the platform we are on — not against it. Serverless when it fits, dedicated capacity when it doesn't.

Boring infrastructure, sharp interfaces.
We push for the dullest, most well-understood backend choices and the sharpest, most opinionated frontend. The system underneath should be unremarkable.

Work that matters.
We reserve studio capacity for healthcare, education, and public-interest work. Not all of it is glamorous. Some of it is the most important software we ship.
